Amanda Peterson is an associate attorney at Woodhouse Roden Ames & Brennan, LLC. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Wyoming, receiving recognition on the President’s list for a 4.0 GPA and participating in extensive community service. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2015 and has since gained experience in the areas of Personal Injury/Wrongful Death, Business Representation, Civil Litigation, Workers’ Compensation, Landlord/Tenant Law, HOA Representation & Property Management, Family Law, Guardianships/Conservatorships, and Criminal Law. Amanda is admitted to practice law in the State of Wyoming, and the US District Court for the District of Wyoming.
While in Law School, Amanda was a legal intern for the First Judicial District Court gaining invaluable insight into Court processes and expectations, conducted research for the Prosecution Assistance Clinic and won an appeal in front of the Wyoming Supreme Court on behalf of the Attorney General’s Office. She worked as a Legal Intern at the Wyoming Supreme Court where she analyzed historical and current legal resources and assisted in composing Supreme Court Opinions.
Before joining WRAB in 2023, Amanda worked for several years as a state prosecutor for the Laramie County District Attorney’s Office, gained experience in private practice at a firm known for high-profile, highly contentious cases in a variety of situations primarily revolving around family law matters, helped ensure corporate compliance with rapidly changing healthcare and insurance laws for a large health insurance company, managed the marketing and fundraising functions of a local non-profit, and managed a private firm as a solo practitioner.
Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, being involved in her church ministry, getting together with friends, traveling, and playing volleyball.
