Katye Ames is a Partner at Woodhouse Roden Ames & Brennan, LLC. Katye is a gifted trial lawyer, but is also an exceptionally talented transactional attorney. Katye primarily practices in areas such as corporate defense, criminal defense, and civil litigation. Katye practices in both state and federal courts managing complex civil and criminal litigation cases.
She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Law where she graduated with Honors. At the University of Tennessee College of Law, Katye was a member of Law Women Association, Black Law Students Association, and the Advocacy Clinic. Katye graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tennessee State University, where she was a member of the softball team and active in several student organizations.
Katye is admitted to practice before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, United States District Court - District of Wyoming, and Wyoming State Courts.
