Matt was a Wyoming native who had a diverse legal background spanning over 30 years; he joined Woodhouse Roden Ames & Brennan LLC in 2019. He prided himself as being a proficient, detailed and result oriented legal counsel, and represented government entities and private clients in litigation, commercial, regulatory, administrative, and legislative matters. He was a dedicated professional with strong business acumen and the ability to provide effective solutions to meet strategic goals. Matt had an expertise in the areas of employment and labor law, employee relations, discrimination and professional licensing matters.

He served as a law clerk/staff attorney at the Wyoming Supreme Court, general counsel for the Wyoming Judicial Counsel, as a Wyoming Senior Assistant Attorney General and in private practice with both large and small law firms. He was named a Top Lawyer In Wyoming (2013 - 2019) by The Legal Network. He also has the following bar admissions: Wyoming (1986) - California (1988) - Colorado (2012).

Matt passed on January 28, 2024. He is greatly missed by his family and friends, as well as his colleagues here at WRAB.
